The dead are: Mrs. Helen Blackburn Busch, wife of John Busch of Jane Ellen Busch, her Clawson; daughter; and Mrs. Fannie Williams Busch, wife of David Busch of Helper. The accident happened about 4:00 p. m. Thursday three miles west of Eagle, Colorado, as the party, includson of David ing Lester, Busch, and Ida, infant daughter of John Busch, was .on its way back from a visit with relatives in Illionis. Lester who was driving the automobile, crawled out unhurt after the car had stopped. Ida was miraculously saved when she was thrown out of the auto, landing on a pillow. She received only minor bruises. Mrs. Helen Blackburn Busch and her daughter were killed instantly. The other victim of the tragedy died several hours later in a Glenwood Springs hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Elizabeth Blackburn Busch and her daughter were held Monday afternoon at 2:00 oclock in the L. D. S. ward chapel at Ferron with Bishop Perry E. Snow in charge. Interment was in Ferron cemetery under.direc-tio- n of the Wallace mortuary. The mother was born January 30, 1911, at Ferron, a daughter of Byron and Lela Maxfield Blackburn. Her daughter was born June 9, 1936, at Clawson. Survivors of the mother are: Her husband; four children. three-year-o- ld Edward and Oscar Williams, all of Benton, Illinois; and two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Best of Benton, and Mrs. Margaret King of Sessor, Conklin Rites Held Last Friday Morning Funeral services for Mrs. Maud May Cloward Conklin who died here June 2, 15 minutes after she had been stricken ill, were conducted last Friday morning in the Wallace mortuary chapel under direction of Bishop Orson H. Guymon with Ernest S. Horsley in charge. Interment was in the Price cemetery. Mrs. Conklin had been taken ill while waiting for a train to take her back to her home in Salt Lake City, and died 15 minutes later at the Price hospital of a ruptured artery in the stomach. 1939.. la: Ida, Owen, Larry and Morgan Busch; one brother, Alton Blackburn of OrJes-si- e angeville; and three sister?, Mrs. Nelson of Ferron, Mrs. George Ferguson of Rains and Mrs. Joe Christman of Price. Burial was in the Masonic cemetery at Price under direction of the Wallace mortuary. She was born at Valier, Illinois, February 10, 1899, daughter of Milton and Minnie Ray Williams.
