The organization is an outgrowth of meetings held last week to inaugurate a project for Improvement of hospital facilities, which local medical men state are very inadequate. The committee which made arrangements for the permanent organization included: John W. Holden, Bishop Jorgensen, Dr. Fisk and Mrs. Glen S. Nelson. It was originally planned to either enlarge the present hospital building or trade the structure for one of the old school dormitories. These proposals were later considered not feasible, the association believing that it would require a new building to meet present needs. Offers of support for the project have been received by the association from nearly every town in Carbon and Emery counties. The decision to work for a new hospital was made after a special committee had thoroughly investigated the first two proposals and. inspected the buildings concerned. . . . man-hou- rs 9c Fifty Beds Objective Of iarle Duggeri, Pi ice, county physician, and J.
