The result was a gala affair and fun for the Funeral services for Rosa Spatofore Fratto, wife of Joseph Fratto of Sunnyside, were conducted Sunday morning at the Thomas-Desermortuary by the Rev. Ralph C. Jones. Burial was in the Price City cemetery. Mrs. Fratto died Thursday at her home of cerebral hemorrhage. She was born in Italy on January 26, 1879. Scouts. Members sold candy on the side lines, to make it more enjoyable for those who arent training for spring football. Faculty members present were Miss Esther Reeves, George Morgan, and Lucien Reid. With the thrilling music of Cal and Downeys dance band and the ever available spotlight, everyone had a perfectly delightful time and all hope for more. RITES HELD FOR INFANT Julia Jewkes, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred C. Jewkes of Spring Canyon, died shortly after birth Friday at the familys home. Knight, of Salt Lake City, field representative of the Utah State Retail Grocers association, announced Tuesday during a visit to Price that girls of the Carbon county high school will participate in a national contest in which prizes totaling $1000 will be offered for the best lists of grocery items making up the ideal household pantry. The contest will be a feature of National Retail Grocers week from April 5 to 10, and 378 cash prizes ranging from $2 to $200 will be awarded.
