Show THURSDAY, MARCH THE PAGE SIX SOCIETY AND Business Women Of Price Organize Club Mrs. Viola OBerto was named as temporary chairman of the newly organized Price B. P. W. club at a meeting of prospective members Tuesday night at the city hall. Mrs. R. W. Crockett, Jr., was appointed as temporary secretary. Official committees were also chosen. Mrs. Sophia Roberts is chairman of the constitution and to be assisted by Mrs. Bertha Deal and Mrs. Crockett. The membership committee, which will determine charter members, will be directed by Mrs. Lulu Walsh, her aides being Mrs. Bess Jones and Mrs. Pauline Oelwein. The latter group will also serve as a nominating committee. A dinner meeting will be held next Tuesday evening at 7:30, at the Rinet-- ti & Capitolo restaurant, for the purpose of electing permanent officers, and to complete main organizing business of the club. by-la- Legion And Auxiliary to Observe Birthday Event Saturday Eve w, Penelope Daughters Meet For Social Daughters of Penelope held their regular meeting Sunday at the American Legion hall in Price. Following the business session, members were treated to a surprise party arranged by Mary Diamenti, president of the unit, and Ann Marakis, treasurer. Beauty Operators Of County To Give Style Review Sunday A Spring Hair Style Review will be held Sunday evening, March 21, by he Carbon County Association of Better Beauty Shops. Each operator of the association will enter four models. A special item of the show will be a demonstration by one of Utahs leading hair style artists, Darrell, from the Makoff Salon in Salt Lake City. After the review refreshments will be served, and the remainder of the evening will be spent in playing cards. Invitations are cordially extended to the public to be in attendance. Tickets may be purchased from any beauty shop in Price. The prevue will take place at the Legion hall in Price, beginning at 7 oclock. Former Price Miss To Be Married Mr. and Mrs. Montell Mangum of Salt Lake City, formerly of Price, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Clover, to John J. Bates. Young Mr. Bates has just returned from an eastern states mission. Miss Mangum attended the local schools before moving to the capital city, and has a host of friends in this community. The couple will be married on March 25 at the Salt Lake Temple. Following the marriage, a reception will honor them at the Belvedere Lounge. They will leave immediately for Washington, D. C.. to make their Sewing Club home. Convened Naomi Chapter To Sponsor Card Social A bridge luncheon will be given at the Masonic Temple Saturday afternoon at 1:30, under auspices of the Naomi chapter, O. E. S.
