NEWS Featuring a decorative scheme as unusual as it was clever, the annual Carbon high school Junior From, the countys most select yearly social af fair, was held in the Silver Moon hall Friday night. One of the largest crowds in the history of the traditional event enjoyed the evening in elaborate surroundings that transformed the spacious pavilion into the fabled land of Mother Goose. All of the legendary characters who figured in the childhood literature of most Americans were represented, including Jack Horner, Miss Muffett, Boy Blue, the three bears and countless others. A unique effect in the center of the hall represented Jack jumping over the candlestick, while the clock of hickory, dickory dock fame served as the indicator for the dances, with the inevitable mouse performing in familiar style by running up the timepiece when each dance changed. j For their promenade, the juniors emerged from the mythical abode of the old woman in a shoe. Another charming departure from custom was made at this juncture, the straight marching style heretofore used in the class promenade being replaced by dance steps. Many other features, both of decorations and arrangement, contributed to the delightful entertainment offered by the dance. Patrons were as follows: Principal and Mrs. Melvin Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. P. B. Christensen, Mayor and Mrs. J. Bracken Lee, Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Guymon, Mr. and Mrs. V. E. Littizzette, Mr. and Mrs. Dominic Polve, Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Turner, Mr. and. Mrs. G. J.
