SL Only a limited supply of fat eattlw was available here, but Chicago juid Omaha had heavy runs at lower prices that prevented an advance here, However, the local market held weak and sjtots lower. There wa a good clearance. Country demand continued in laige volume. Receipts of stock calves were the largest of the season. Hogs held steady with last weeks close, but were fifteen to twenty cents under a week ago. Lambs ruled ten to fifteen cents lower than last weeks to forty cents close and thirty-fiv-e under the Lest time last week. Indications that next weeks receipts will be materially reduced because of the national election November 8.
