PRICfi, UTAH Corporations, which have delayed in making income tax returns in the hope that there would be a reduction in the rates were advised on- Monday laxt by James IL Anderson, collector of internal revenue, that there would be no reduotion in the 1927 schedule. A bill was prepared providing for a reduction iu certs in rates, he explains, but when it went to the congressional eommittee there arose a proposition for a still greater reduction and no agreement eould be reached the presentation of eueh eaused all consideration of it to be deferred until after the last date of the filing period on March 15th. This postponement removed all possible promise of a reduction in rates for 1927. Anderson again announces that uncertified checks, cashiers checks, express money orders or drafts eannot be received in payment for internal revenue stamps such as are applied to documents of various kinds or ex rise ones for various kinds of where internal revenue stamps are called for. The rule is that stamps are sold for cash, postoffice money orders or certified cheeks, only. - busi-ne- Mined In Carbon County and Shipped Everywhere . If that town enters the nee another team will have to come dong with them in order to have an even number in the running. Baseball this season should be the best in the history of the Eastern Utah' league and fans' can figure that they will get more than their moneys worth this summer.
