T. R. Jones wai seriously injured at Consumers Mutual mine up on Gordon Creek Sunday last when his auto ran away down a steep hill near the postoffice there. The accident was a most peculiar one. It appears that he noticed the car moving backward down the grade and ran to intercept it. When he grabbed the brake his roat caught in a rear wheel, lie was pulled underneath. The machine jmi-c- d over his chest and shoulder, breaking several ribs, his eollarbone and otherwise injuring him. It was at first thought he was killed. lie was brought to Price City Hospital and given treatment. Hia condition is Improving. Jones is a former resident of Price, a brother of Former Mayor Jones and has been in the employ of the Mutnal Consumers ever since it first began operations. BUILDING OPERATIONS QUITE ACTIVE LAST YEAR During last year he building in this city numbered forty-fivaccording to Grant D. Richens, city inspector, and totaled in money None were issued for any big construction jobs, the large majority being granted for dwellings which ranged from f 100 to $3800. One important item in the citys program for the year just elosed, however, was the construction of the new Masonie temple, which, when completed, will figure up in the neighborhood of $85,000. If the work done on this structure last year were taken into consideration the total would exceed $100,000 by a good margin. Brick and frame houses of various kinds were bnilt during the past twelve months by Leo Fulsome, W. W. Lewfs, Carl R. Marcnsen, Bernard i, George A. Smith, S. A. Olsen, W. G. In a practice tilt prior to the opening of tle Eastern Utah hoop league the Prire team downed the Hiawatha aggregation here Ust night by a twenty-si- x to fifteen score.
