Plumb, an engineer connected with the Salt Lake City offleo of the General Electric company, ia among the forty-thre-e employes of that concern honored last Friday at Schenectady, N. Y., the second annual award given workers under tha Charles A. Coffin foundation. Plumb has been with the eomany fourteen yean. When the Castle Gate mine disaster took plare locally Plumb went to the scene and helped with the rescue work for six days. He initiated a systematic direction at the mine portal through which bodice were brought from the mine and organized a service for rescuers in tha workings. It was because of this service to a customer in the time of disaster that the award was made him.
