Dear Sir Having myself worked in the mine for twenty years, and having always paid dues into a labor union, I can say from personal experience that while it might not lie so well fur the men should they follow your advice, ita mighty fine of yon to step up on a soap box and tell the miners of Carbon county to go on strike. I ahould do the same were I holding your job and receiving your salary and expense money. 1 know how much yon are (mid. I believe I am eorreet when I say you are receiving eight dollar a day, with your expenses paid. You eat three squares each day, while the miners, should they strike it you advise, would find it difficult to get even one. Yon are well justed on eunditions here and must know in your heart that you are advising the men wrongly at thin time. The United Mine AA'orkers of America will not extend aid to the miners, and you know that in local camps the ojierating couimniea have tlie right to eject anyone from their jirivste jirujierty.
