During a brief ceremony, Tanger made separate $500 donations to the Summit County Sheriff Department and Park City Fire Department. "We are very proud to show our support for these wonderful organizations that mean so much to our shopping center and our community," stated Candice Wilson, General Manager of the Tanger Outlet Center in Park City. "These men and women give of themselves all year long and help make Summit County a great place to live and work. They are the real heroes in our community." "The Summit County Sheriff's Office strives to maintain exceptional relationships with community partners. The Tanger Outlet Center in Park City has consistently been a top supporter of the Sheriff's Office, and often partners to provide the best public safety services possible for this corn- munity. "We are truly appreciative to the Tanger Outlet Center for the continued support and generous contributions," remarked Sergeant Andrew Wright of the Summit County Sheriff's Office. "Being actively involved and supporting the communities where we do business is very important to Tanger, and has been since the center opened," remarked Candice Wilson, General Manager. The Tanger Outlet Center in Park City is located in the Kimball Junction area just off Interstate 80, at Exit 145. Tanger Outlets Park City has 65 popular brand name retailers. Election information for Coalville, Kamas and Francis will take place. Jeremie Forman, on the Francis Council, could not be there as he had to work that evening. It will be announced at a later date. Jan. 15, a new Chair of the County Council was announced at their regularly scheduled Council meeting. It was unanimous that Chris Robinson be named as the person to follow the 2013 year with Claudia McMullin stepping down as Chair of the County Council last year. She will continue to serve on the Council. County Council member Kim Carson was named Vice-Chair, and other council members including Roger Armstrong and Dave Ure. Ure (r), is up for reelection this year (November(, as is Chair Chris Robinson (D). Robinson has announced he will be seeking re-election, and Ure will make the announcement of his decision at a later date. Armstrong's term is not yet up. Kraig Powell (R), Utah State Representative, is also considering re-election in November. There are issues within the county works with both Summit and Wasatch Counties, and wants to continue and has a few interests he desires to pursue this year and the next (if re-elected). Robinson has several interests he would like to continue working on within the County Council. These will be discussed at a later date. Due to the fact that they filed this resolution for each of these cities and town, and also due to the fact that the number of candidates did not exceed the number of open atlarge municipal offices present officers - they will fulfill their positions until their new terms are up. This resolution for each of these cities and town was filed and posted earlier due to the fact that the number of candidates did not exceed the number of open at-large municipal offices. Oakley, Henefer, and Park City 2014 offices sworn in were in the Summit County News in last week's paper. Sworn in this week included: Coalville City Municipal Elections: Sworn in on Monday, Jan. 13: Mayor — Trevor Johnson — 4 year term; City Council Members — 4 year term each: Kyler Scates; Rodney Robbins. Lee Snelgrove; and Michael Baldwin and Shana Fryer for City Councilmembers took the Oath of Office.
