The jerseys were ordered for home and away jerseys. Squirt Select team members decided to use their red URL jerseys for home games and will order white for away games. The jerseys will be used more than one year and passed on to other members as needed. They are planning an end- CHERYL OVARD SCN Editor The High Mountain Shootout Tournament at Park City Ice Arena was held the first week in November. It was a great success. The Ice Miners Bantam team placed First in the Tournament, and the Pee Wee and Squirt teams placed second. Volunteers helped out in the foyer with food sales and merchandise sales to go towards the local teams. There of-the-year banquet for all players. It has been a fun season and the youth have done well. Thanks to their coaches and volunteers who have helped make this program possible. Youth from all over the county play in the various age-group teams, and it is a great way to make friends and learn a new and fun skill at the same time. We went to arrest him on several warrants and when we arrived suspect was not at the base as we had been told. We saw suspect running up the Alpine track we followed up the track and eventually took him into custody at the top of the run. Charges: Failure to stop at the command of a peace officer - Auto Burglary x2 and warrants: $2500 SLC JC. Incident: Possession of Controlled Substance - Holiday Curve Drive - Synopsis: Originally reported as a Burglary-in-Progress, Deputies responded quickly and encountered suspect in the driveway, with a compound bow and nocked arrow, in hand. Suspect's claims of a Burglary were unfounded, but a suspected controlled substance was located, in plain view, in suspect's small studio apartment. Suspect lives alone in the apartment and appeared to have hallucinated, or lied about, the Burglary event, and appeared to be under the influence of drugs. Suspect was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Intoxication. Incident: Burglary (Past Occurred) - Location: N East Meadows Dr - Synopsis: A former girlfriend of the homeowner is suspected to have entered the home and taken $20,000 worth of watches and $2,000 in cash. The burglary happened nearly one month ago. The homeowner only lives in the home part time. Fingerprints were collected from the scene and information regarding the watches was gathered. Officers continued with the investigation and follow-up with the suspect. The Utah High School Activities Association (UHSAA) Board of Trustees met and passed a first consideration of regions for 2013-15. Deputies responded to the Summit County Animal Shelter on a suspicious vehicle call. Deputies located a vehicle with Massachusetts plates and two individuals who has just been released from jail and were waiting for the shelter to open to retrieve their dog.
