Continued From Front In this game, the Wildcats took a 2-1 lead into halftime only to see Rowland Hall tie it up halfway through the second half. This game also went into overtime with RH scoring the goal early in OT. It was the Wildcats first region loss of the season. Head Coach Chris Burton had this to say about the game, "It was an excellent game that was very physical and for our kids, a tough loss, but I think in the end, it will benefit us. Their next opponent was Waterford and the Wildcats had to win this one to have a chance at being region champs. Coach Burton commented that, "I wanted to see how our players would come out in this game after that tough loss at Rowland Hall." Coach Burton's belief is that his team has put themselves in an excellent position to make a good run in the playoffs. This is what he had to say about the playoffs, "We are going to take this one game at a time, but our goal is to win it all this year and I think if we don't accomplish that, then our boys will be extremely disappointed." If the team won this past Wednesday, then they would play their next game on Saturday, May 7th at 1:00pm at Wildcat Stadium.
