CHERYL OVARD SCN Editor The Summit County Council met on Wednesday, May 4, to view the Summit County Art Collection Traveling Exhibition. Representing the Summit County Art Collection was Lola Beatlebrox, Chair, and members of the Summit County Public Art Advisory Board. Board members include Megan Fernandez, Laurie Hopkins, Jenny Dorsey, Jude Greeney, Ennis Gibbs, Stephanie Donovan, Ann Johnson, Keith Martindale and Nann Worel who were both thanked and introduced by Councilwoman Sally Elliott. These paintingshave been viewed by those visiting the Summit County Courthouse, and have beena beautiful addition to the County buildings. Because only those who visit the Summit County Courthouse have viewed these paintings, the Public Art Advisory Board created a traveling exhibition to introduce the community to the county's rich landscape and heritage which has been captured on canvas through the medium of oil, pastel sand water colors. The Rap Tax (the Summit County Recreation of Arts and Parks Tax), has helped County Services Building, make it possible to pull this then back to the County `Fail Classes collection together and many Courthouse in Coalville.
