These cards thank the students for “Paws”ing to be Safe, Kind and Responsible. The students take the cards to the office and trade them in for an opportunity to draw out a 1100 number. Students write their name on the matching number on a large 100’s chart hanging in the office. The first row of ten completed earns the prize. Prizes earned so far have been a trip to Dick’s Drive Inn, lunch at the Summit Inn, and a pizza party and balloon animal party. On May 12, three rows of ten were completed at once. All thirty students were invited to enjoy pizza and ice cream and to learn how to make balloon animals. All the students completed a balloon giraffe and were given a balloon pump, balloons and instructions on how to make more balloon animals. The elementary school thanks Tawna Padfield and Camellia Robbins for sharing their balloon talents with the students. 435•783•TREE Kindergarten Students “Spring Clean.” Vicki Ure’s Kindergarten class put on their gloves and coats and headed outside to work. After a long winter and lots of snow, the students finally found the grass along with lots of wet, dirty papers. They students eagerly picked up garbage and pinecones in an effort to make their school look “spring time” fresh.
