We're already into it. The bus has left the political views of countless serious blunders perpetrated by our station and who knows when the master jugglers (we call them next one will show up? Their endless fountain of creour lifetimes) of this current ridiculous, political soap ative verbiage, has tended to remind opera. Like: Mow many times do most of us - even those who are you have to he sftol before you're only vaguely familiar with biblical declared dead? Well, tell me: How many of us average thinkers comprehend all the lawyerly (not to terms the be ednfused with liar-ly- ) EYG is using in order to validate their legal assaults on whar we have always previously accepted as a democratic election process? However, in an attempt at neutrality. maybe the real villain is our amazing English language. It originated as a combination of Anglo Saxton (Germanic), Romance-- , Latin, or Greek-base- d words, with the majority of them - (701) of Latin (Rome) or Greek origin being used in our common, or -- everyday language. Those are the words with whose meanings and usage we are most familiar. But, contradictorily, the higher-levwords, or the and most significant words - as needed in a higher technological el power-vocabular- y, society (as in legal-beagusage) -about 70 of those, likewise, come le from Latin and Greek origins. Inasmuch, therefore, the confusion which exists among voters, becomes somewhat understandable as we try to the mainstream election slogan of our last El Presidente's campaign committee as, It's the economy, stupid." So due to eight years of an almost complete revising, editing, and redefining of the meaning of many of the over two million words which compile the English language - the new campaign slogan should accurately, be changed to, Its the language, stupid. Bee Welcomes New Kamas Correspondent 'i With the question, and feelings running high. I came across a story that was on the net" that struck me with its sig- nificance. The following statement was read over the PA system at Roane County High School in Kingston, Tennessee. It has always been the custom al Roane County High School foot-ha- ll games to say a prayer and play the National Anthem to honor God and Country. Due to a recent ruling by the Supreme Court, I am told that saying a prayer is a violation of Federal Case Law. As I understand the law at this time, I can use this public facility to approve of sexual perversion and call it an alternative lifestyle, and if someone is offended, that's ok. I can use it to condone sexual promiscuity by dispensing condoms and calling it safe sex. If someone is offended, that's ok. I can even use this public facility to present the merits of killing an unborn baby as a viable means of birth control. If someone is offended. that's ok. I can designate a school day as earth day and involve students in activities to religiously worship and praise the Goddess. Mother Earth, and call it ecology. I can use literature, video and presentations in the classroom that depict people with strong, traditional, Christian convictions as simple minded and ignorant and call it enlightenment. However, if anyone uses this facility to honor God and ask him to bless this event with safety and good sportsmanship, Federal Case Law is violated This appears to be inconsistent at best, and at worst, diabolical. Apparently, we are to be tolerant of everything and anyone, except God and His commandments. Nevertheless, as a school principal, I frequently ask staff and students to abide by rules which they do not necessarily agree with. For me to do otherwise would be inconsistent at best, and at worst, hypocritical. I suffer from that affliction enough unintentionally. I certainly do not need to add an intentional transgression. For this reason, I shall, Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's, and refrain from praying at this time. However, if you feel inspired to honor, praise and thank God and ask Him in the name of Jesus to bless this event, please feel free to do so. As far as I know, that's not of Kamas to be our Kamas Correspondent. He will be helping us keep up with things that are going on in the south- ern part of the county. Jim raised his family in Sandy, Utah and then gave up the big city life, and moved up here about four years ago. He married Barbara Gines who, he says, has been a resident of Kamas almost forever.
