Relatives and friends are invited to attend. . Mrs. Winters was bom June 4, Cheryl Judd Mike Pace omba, Queensland, Australia. She emigrated to the United States in 1916 and lived in Garland, Utah. mnd! Presented! At die North Summit High , School Awards assembly The United States Army Reserve presented two. National Scholar Athletic awards in the form of a certificate and a beautiful three .inch engraved medal with a red, white and blue ribbon banner to be worn on their necks. The recipientof the award has to excell in grades, citizenship, athletics and sportsmanship. This award involves all four years of high school,' The two. outstanding seniors to receive them were Cheryl Judd and Michael Pace. She then moved to Los Angeles, California' with her husband. They were 'caretakers of the Los Angeles Mission Home until 1956. Then they moved 'to Cambridge, Mass, to be caretakers of the New England Mission Home. They moved to Springville, Utah in 1958 where she has lived since. Mr. Winters died in 1964. She has held positions in the Various organizations of the L.D.S. Well, the first activity of the summer is right around the corner. Youth Conference for the Kamas Utah Stake has been planned for June 5th, 6th, and 7th. Over 200 young people plan to attend this conference, which will be held at Brigham Young University.' This conference will include: workshops with various guest speakers, sports activities, a barbeque and luau, a dance, a tour of the Missionary Training Center, and a testimony meeting. Coalville Stake News Saturday May 3lst a Stake Temple Day has been scheduled. The temple closes at noon so every one is encouraged to get up early and make a session at the temple on that day. Later Saturday night stake baptisms will be held at 7:30 . p.m. Contact your ward bishop to more information-. . We are pleased that so many youth are going to attend the conference and hope that they will participate in all the scheduled events in order to make this conference an event to remember. They have paid the price of fighting their country, and although it was an unpopular war, they answered their country's call. Although Allen lost his life, he found his peace. Many, 'many others are still fighting not only the nightmare and hell of Viet Nam, but the stings and arrows of their fellow countrymen.
