NSHS Notes North Summits Homecoming plans are In full swing. Homecoming will be Friday Sept. 19. It will have a Bicentennial theme Land of the Free, Home of the Utah State Auditor David S. Monson today, announced the appointment of Reed Pace, Summit County Auditor, to a special Citizens and County Officials Advisory Committee. Mr. Pace will assist and advise the State Auditor in matters concerning municipal accounting and the implementation of the Fiscal Procedures Act for counties. The Committee will make recommendations inpreparing a Uniform Accounting System for the twenty-nin- e counties in Utah. With a full day of activity from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and always a delicious meal prepared by expert and dedicated cooks, Barbara Hortin and Renee Robinson, assisted in serving by Nellie Crittenden and others, to a large group each Wednesday. Saturday noon two full bus loads of happy, healthy Senior Citizens left for Salt Lake where they attended the afternoon showing of Holiday on Ice at the Salt Palace. All enjoyed the talented performances of the skaters in their beautiful colorful costumes. It all added up to an afternoon of pure enjoyment and topped off entertainment, with an excellent meal at the Chuck-A-Ram- a. pin we thank the school board for donatingthe busses and expert drivers for the A trip. SSHS Wildcats Ready for Morgan to a victorious season with our new coach, Tom Crit-tentand our fantastic South Summit Wildcats had a stunning victory over Union last Thursday. Tyree Wilde made a touchdown in the second quarter which put us in the lead 6 to 0. After a lot of hustle we pushed them back for a two point safety. The final score was Wildcats 8, Union 0. Congratulations boys. The cheerleaders were in there trying to raise spirit, which they are' good at. The studentbody and the towns people gave the team a lot of support. Keep it up.
