The Millegan family all got together for a family picnic up Beaver Creek. Those enjoying the outing were: Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Stephens; The daughters of Ben Ovard presented a couple of numbers with Diane McKrea singing and Janis Ault accompanyingheronthe piano; Ben Ovard gave a couple of humorous readings; to end the program, Cheryl Ovard danced, very colorfully, the Hawaiian Wedding Song and the Hawaiian War Chant. It was a short but very good program which everyone enjoyed, After this business was conducted, Carl Ovard became the new President, Glen Ovard, Vice President; Thelma Ovard, Secretary. Mary 0. Wilde will be helping with the genealogy. It was decided that next year the reunion will beheld in Henefer again. Each family brought their own lunch, after which the adults enjoyed touring the Daughters of Utah Pioneers building, genealogy and just being together. As guests, they have entertained their family and friends from out of state, who came for the wedding and reception of their daughter, Shannar Those present were Val and Nancy Judd and five children from Rochester, Minn.; Doyle and Linda and two chil-La- ke dren from Tempe, Arizona; colleen Clark (sister of Vel-D- ee ma) and her three children from Phoeniz, Arizona. Also on hand to enjoy the festivities were Grandma and Grandpa Stephens of Henefer. Frank Judd, who is a student at BYU was also on hand to help out. The only member of the family who was not at home was their foster daughter, Pauline Martin (Navajo) who was on tour in Europe with a group of BYU Laminite Generation students. The tour was the USO Tour, and it is the first time that Indian students have had this opportunity of entertaining our servicemen. There were ten students on the tour and their chaperone, Miss Janie Thompson, BYU Program Instructor. The tour lasted for 42 days.
