Girls from nine schools participated. The NJS. gals placed second under Wasatch. The day proved to be a fun one for participants and amusing to those viewers. DeAnna Vernon set two new region records, one in 100 yd. dash and 50 yd. dash. Congratulations. Thursday was the Athletic Banquet held in the gym where the athletes and their parents also dates were invited. Serving was under the direction of the Drill Team. Speaker was Coach Dave Kragthorpe, offensive line coach at BYU. Awards were given. They are as follows: WRESTLING: Most Valuable Wrestler, Ronnie!
