NSHS Tuesday we had an assembly by the 'Royal Arms, a group ' from the University of Utah. ; Wednesday was the Veterans Assembly sponsored by the i veterans. We really enjoy all of the assemblies, and we are learn- -i ing to respect the entertainers. NSHS j For our student lounge we now have a pop machine and two candy machines are on their way. Everyone Injoys the lounge and our pingpongtables. There is now a table for girls only. A ping pong tournament is being planned before Thanksgiving. --NSHS ' On Friday, November 27 we travel Jo Box Elder for our first basketball game. The ICC program was designed in Denver, Colorado, during the annual ANCA presidents and secretaries meeting In July with the ANCB in attendance. Mrs. Hoyt and Mrs. Eliason represented Utah during this meeting of CowBelles. Donald Brown who has been stationed at Enid, Oklahoma visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Parley Brown the past week, enroute to Travis AFB In California. They gave a very inspiring talk at Sacrament Meeting Sunday evening in the Hoytsville Ward. The Parley Browns went to Rexburg, Idaho Tuesday to attend their other son, Richard, on the completion of language training at Ricks College prior to his leaving on a two-ye- ar mission to Finland. A banquet and program concluded the evening for the missionaries. Then on Wednesday morning they went to the Salt Lake airport to see Richard off to Finland. Daughter Calls Mrs. Bernett Smith was pleased to receive a phone call from her daughter, Mrs. Carl (Ilene) Rasmussen of Concord California last Friday, asking about her health and inviting her to come and spend the Christmas holidays with them. The Rasmussen's son, Brent, is attending USU at Logan and is a Junior. Tony Louder, son of Jerry and Doris Louder was graduated from Primary Sunday evening. Presenting the program were Hans and Basil Holt and Kenneth Andrus. Visiting our Ward that evening were Ivan and Susie Andrus, of Idaho; Irene Andrus and Marlene Andrus, and Louise Andrus(sorry I don't know your married name) and her husband and family. Alan Couey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Couey has finished his training in South Carolina. He graduated with high honors in missiles. He will be sent to Germany for 18 months. His wife Judy will stay in Heber with her folks until arrangements can be made for her to Join him. We would like to welcome Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Smith and family into our Ward. Mrs. Louise Roath and son Kyle wen dinner guests Friday of Elmer and Mae Olsen. Then on Saturday, Elmer and Mae went to Louise1 s and helped build on their home. Blonqulst, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Blonquist, Coalville, Utah, recently received a certificate of achievement during ceremonies In Vietnam. The award was earned for meritorious service during the present assignment. Specialist Blonquist received the sward while assigned as a dispatcher with the company. He entered the army in August 1969, completed basic training at FL Lewis, Wash., and was last stationed at FL Ord, Calif.
