Show "VACATION WEEK" EDITION OF THE fARK CITY, UTAH 84060 RECORD THURSDAY, JULY 7, 1966 Several Parkites In Queen Contest Chamber of Commerce Board Elects Heydon New President Tim Heydon, director of Public Relation for the Park City Recreation Area, wu named president of the board of the Park City Chamber of Commerce at an organization luncheon at th Treasure Mountain Inn Tuesday noon. The delicious luncheon was hooted by Joe Walsh, Inn manager. Heydon'e election followed last weeks boafj' election, at which three vacancies were filled. Mason Smith, of Utah Lumber, was -- i NUMBER 27 to succeed himself. Dr. Wm. Orris, retiring president, and George PoIychronlL of Mount Air Grocery, were not 'candidates. They were succeeded by Joe Walsh of Treasure Mountain Inn and Fred Elejr, pioneer Park City garage man. At Wednesdays luncheon three more vacancies on the board wdfe filled. George Aggie, manager of CTest Bon, tendered his resignation, and June Johnson, owner of New Park Hotel; is not now a resident- Their places were filled by appointment of Gene Sain, of Lewis Bros. Stages, and Bud manager of American Oil. Lee Parka, a third board member, announced that her fujiife plans areso uncertain that this might be a good thne to be replaced, and Bill Henrion, of the Grubstake Grocery, was named to the board in her stead. Gaeparac was named vice president. Donna Dearden treasurer and Sain secretary. Heydon said the group will meet for luncheon sessions every two weeks and follow a fixed agenda at ea6b meeting. He said it will be necessary to revamp the office structure to cut operating cost, and the board is hoping for invitations of e a occupied office or store which might serve as Chamber of Commerce headquarfe era also.
