Show AROUND THE COUNTY APRIL SUMMIT COUNTY NEWS 24, 2015 Suspected fraud trio arrested at Park City Mall PAGE A3 Sheriff's Report Blotter Dontrail Brown Michael Chiles Eniola Obileye Summit County - Park City - Three individuals from California have been booked into the Summit County Jail following an investigation of what appears to be a complex fraud operation. Several stores from the Tanger Outlet Mall in Park City contact Sheriff's deputies after three individuals were observed purchasing items with credit cards that would only work by being entered manually. Store clerks reported many of the transactions were initially declined; however additional credit cards were produced by the three. Deputies located the three individuals and discovered a rental car loaded with a large amount of merchandise. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that between the three individuals, they possessed at least forty-nine (49) credit cards that were fraudulently produced. The cards were produced with their names, but breached account numbers. All in all, the trio shopped at nineteen (19) stores in the Park City Outlet Mall and detectives believe they hit other stores on the way up from California, including a sporting goods store in Price, Utah which was oddly out of the way to Park City. It was also discovered that the individuals had been to Utah some weeks ago on a similar crime spree. Michael Chiles (30), Dontrail Brown (34), and Eniola Obileye (22), have been booked into the Summit County Jail on numerous felony charges pending the investigation which will require additional follow-up. Bullough honored with this "Sunset of the Great Salt Lake" photo (Continued from bottom front corner) CHERYL OVARD SCN Editor Richard ("Rich"), was hurrying towards Tooele, his final destination for a meeting that evening, when he saw an opportunity to get off the freeway near the Great Salt Lake and literally "jump" out of his vehicle to the shoreline, just in time to 'snap' this artistic scene...which within a few moments after the "click" the sky turned a dark black and grey color! Another photographer had pulled up alongside of Rich and his wife, but the opportunity had passed, and there was not another chance for this magnificent photo to ever be taken again! "It was a fluke!" stated Rich. "One of those times when only one chance comes, and if you are there at "that moment in time", the digital portrait is the reward for the timely stop!" He feels very honored for this opportunity. As a very young man he began carrying around his camera. He said he owes the love of art to his dad, which, after sitting and watching his father with oil painting, he decided that this talent was not to be his forte, but certainly his eye for catching "the right moment" with his camera is! Rich loves the outdoors, exploring the ancient ruins, and photographing them at many angles, and from hiking up steep inclines and hills and cliffs to get the "right angle" for that "right moment"! Get him in a moment with his camera in hand or photo to share, and he could relate the many miles he made just to get "that shot!" An artist behind the lens, Rich shows his love and passion as he talks of the many places and canyons he has visited to discover a new angle or place he has not been! Using the modern technology with digital, as well as the "old-time" film cameras, he has used photography in a way to "preserve" that moment in time...a passion that Rich loves to share with others and tell of the adventures photography has brought him!
