Kelly Shroeder and Keagan Wilde were honored for their winning posters at an awards meeting with the NSMS last week. Also winners of a video made for this event were Ellie Brown and Gracie Watterson (not pictured). (pictured with students is Teacher Mrs. Barbara Erickson) McKenzie Wagner is ten years old, and has loved reading since she was four. She wrote and completed her first book, "The Magic Wall Series", and "The Magic Meadow and the Golden Locket" at age 7. Her second book then was "The Blue Lagoon and the Magic Coin" shortly after. McKenzie wants to pursue an English degree and teach elementary school. She also wants to continue writing. She has a 6-year old brother, and also lives with her parents and grandma.
