Show OBITUARIES PAGE MAY 21, 2010 SUMMIT COUNTY NEWS A8 Lucille Irene Martin Lucille Irene Martin was born Aug. 7, 1925, in Evanston, WY, to Jess and Maude Clark. She attended college at the University of Wyoming. She taught for two years in Lyman, then taught at the old school house in Upper Bear River. She married Richard K. Martin on March 8, 1946. They purchased the Bear River Ranch in 1949. A few years later they moved to Chalk Creek and after living there for a bit they moved back to the ranch. It sold in 1969 and they moved to there current home on 6th St. Dick passed away in November 1977. Lucille worked at the Wyoming State Hospital and obtained her C.N.A. license. She would work the grave yard shift and study all day to get her L.P.N license in 1986. She retired from the Wyoming State Hospital in 1989. Her hobbies included bowling, crocheting, embroidering her beautiful flower gardens, scrap booking, and most of all spending time with her family. She loved to travel. She went to Belgium, Hawaii, France, Germany, Holland, England and on many other cruises with her sisters. Her children and spouses are Kathy Cox (Richard CoxDeceased) in Anchorage, AK. Jeff Martin (Candice Martin) in Evanston, WY. Clark Martin (Jeri Martin) in Evanston, WY. And a sister, Margaret Bowman in Upton. Lucille has eleven grandchildren. Eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grand children. Lucille was preceded in death by parents, her husband Richard K, Martin. Grandchildren Dustin Martin and Dalton Martin. Sisters Fern Peterson and Ila Crompton. The viewing will be on Friday, May 21, at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, WY, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. On Saturday, the viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with the funeral to follow at the Crandall Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Evanston City Cemetery after the service. There will be a luncheon to follow at the Fourth Ward Church at 201 Sage St., Evanston, WY.
