In Logan Kylie Brown placed 4th in the queen contest, Colton Crystal placed 2nd in bareback, Carlee Dick placed 5th in Poles and 8th in the barrels and Katie Leavitt placed 8th in the goats. In Tremonton Kylie Brown place 8th in the Queen Contest and Carlee Dick placed 9th in the cutting. In order to qualify the contestant must place in the top ten in his or her event. 10 points are given for a 1st place, 9 points for 2nd and so forth down to 1 point for 10th. If there are more than 100 contestants entered in an event then 1 more person qualifies for every 10 entries over 100 but does not receive points. Each contestant is allowed to carry points from their 7 best rodeos to state with them. These are added to what they earn at state to determine national qualifiers. As of the Tooele rodeo on April 9 the following South Summit team members were in MAY P.C. Sports Schedule Subscribe the top ten point wise for this years running: Brady Nicholes (pictured below) is a returning national qualifier and is sitting in the number 2 spot just 3 points behind the leader at 67 points.
