A reception will be held in their honor that evening at Le Jardin in Salt Lake City. Jessica is the daughter of Aaron and Janet Niemann, of Oakley. She is a graduate of South Summit High School and is currently attending Utah State University where she will complete a Bachelor Degree in Psychology Spring 2010. Trevor is the son of Patrick and Jennifer Feigleson, of Kaysville. He is a graduate of Davis High and served a mission in Taiwan, Kaohsiung. He is also attending Utah State University and will graduate with Jessica Spring 2010 in Economics. Missionary News Happy 80th Birthday Arvin Anderson Born May 20, 1929 Lynzie Gines and Devon Robinson have chosen June 6 to be married at the East Canyon Resort. Parents of the bride are Mike and Laurell Gines. Parents of the groom are Wes and Kellie Robinson. Grandparents are Blaine Gines, Les and Darelene Marsh, Utahna Robinson and the late Luwauna Gines, John and Lucy Brandt, Joyce Marsh and Ernie Robinson. After they return from an Alaskan cruise, they will reside in Las Vegas, NV, where they will continue their education at the University of Las Vegas as Jessica pursues a Master degree in Social Work. Omer — Ovard Thanks Relay for Life Cancer Research along with the “Beach Babes” team would like to thank all those in the community who came out and supported the Beach Babes BBQ and carnival at the Coalville City Park! We raised lots of money for the walk that will be held in July in Heber City, UT. If you’d still like to get raffle tickets for the great beach giveaway, they are available at Denise’s Home Plate. The Ora Chapman Family Diane and Jesse Atkinson Bob and Kayla Lewis Connie and Stan Stahr Boyd and Helen Lake, of Oakley, will celebrate their 70th Kris Lewis Wedding Anniversary on June 13 with a family barbecue. Boyd Jeff and Verlene Lewis and Helen were married June 13, 1939, in the Logan Temple. They have resided all but two years of their married life in Oakley. Boyd taught Business, music and math and was a counselor at South Summit High School for 43 years. He also taught one year in Roosevelt prior to coming to Kamas. Helen worked in the Kamas State Bank for several years and then became the librarian and started teaching art and English in 1958. Boyd and Helen retired from teaching school in 1984. They served a mission to Zimbabwe, Africa from May 1985 to November of 1986. They then served in the Salt Lake Temple as ordinance workers for 10 years. They still live in their own home taking care of each other. They are both 91 years old. Boyd and Helen have four children, Katherine (Fred) Andreasen, of Brigham City; Renee (Vaun) Mikesell, of St. George; David (Margene) Lake, of Oakley, and Dayne (Maureen) Lake, of Las Vages, NV. Don’t throw them back learn how to cook them… Fried Catfish 2 catfish fillets 1 egg 2 tablespoons milk Vegetable oil 1/2 cup cornmeal Lemon wedges, for serving Dry the fillets with paper towels. In a shallow bowl, using a fork, combine the egg and milk. Heat 1/4-inch of vegetable oil in a large frying pan, heavier ones work best. Dip the fillets in the beaten egg-milk mixture, then into the cornmeal to coat the entire surface. Sauté the fillets in the hot oil - about 3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Serve with lemon wedges and bread (corn bread is great, too) Check through your photos and send us your best ones. Sharing with others help to bring a smile to everyone’s face.
