Show S.S. School News PAGE B2 MAY 2, 2008 Summit County News Wildcat Tryout and Election Results Cheerleaders Studentbody officers (minus one) Spring is a busy time in any high school with sports, state competitions, testing dates, and the like, but then factor in the need for tryouts for all the studentbody officers, following year cheerleader and drill team members and the time available seems not enough to complete all the jobs. That has been the case at South Summit High School for the last four weeks. But, the clinics have been held, the campaigning has been completed for this year, and the results are in on drill team, cheerleading, and stu- dent body officers for the upcoming 2008-09 school year. The drill team members are: Sammy Gines, Bridgett McCormick, Holly Smith, Kathryn Howells, Katie Leavitt, Annalese Neuenschwander, Martie Leavitt, Linsey Mitchell, Tia Mitchell, Vanessa Russell, Paige Lindsay, Karlee Gines, Lindsey Snyder and Savannah Wheeler. The girls who will cheer on South Summit High School are: Katie Rydalch, Haley Street, Mica Cummings, Lindsey Johnson, Whitney Leavitt, Sierra Boyce, McKenzee Descamps, Sami Lynch and Sara Lynch. The student body officers will be President Matt Lee; VP Chanae Weller; Secretary Jenna DeGering; Girls Chairman of Entertainment Kelsey Sorenson; Boys Chairman of Entertainment Devin Smith, and Historian Merilee Goates. We look forward to a new school year next fall with these students representing our school and student body. We hope they use their summer break well and have great success planning and preparing for another year.
