Show Around the County Page A4 The Summit County Bee November 9, 2007 Thank You For County Commissioners from 4-H Ambassadors The Summit County 4-H County Ambassador present the Summit County Commissioners with a “thank you” cookie. Commissioners Sally Elliott, Ken Woolstenhulme and Bob Richer met and hear a report of the many activities and projects completed this year by the 4-H Summit County Ambassadors. They and their advisor, Carolyn Ovard of Henefer, introduced them to the Commissioners. They are, from left to right: Carolyn Ovard, Amber Judd, Katelynn Judd, McKenzie Woolstenhulme, Riata Mitchell, Janessa Potter, Steward Skagerbert and Ryan Bell. They have completed projects by meeting twice a year for pizza and bowling with those in Park City with the Chrysalis program; Easter Egg Hunts that are 4-H sponsored, State 4-H Contests in Logan, and throughout the year honoring and thanking special people in the county, to name a few. They also are involved in several personal projects and enjoy helping teach 4-H in many clubs. Write-in: Josh Richins is the winner Photograph For Courthouse Thayne Stembridge was honored by the Summit County Commissioners on Oct. 31 as they selected his photograph from the Summit County Fair Art Show - which will be hung in the Summit County Courthouse on the main floor.
