Show Mrs. True Feild, Stake Relief Society President. direction HENEFER WAR- DOn June 17, the speaker in Sacrament Meeting was Brother Larkin Patterson. He gave a very inspirational talk. A piano solo was presented by Julie Olson of Morgan. In Sacrament MeetingonJune 24 the former Relief Society Presidency, consisting of Pres- ident LuJean Jones and counselors Artel Paskett and Alice Moore and secretary Sharleen Jones were released and thanked for the job they have done. The new president will be Thea Boyer with Marie P. Rich-i- ns and Barbara Brooks as counselors and Judy Butler as old; Mr. Paul Brown played the organ for everyones enjoyment. Community singing was led by Bishop Thomas Lefler, accompanied by his wife Elizebeth. Prizes were won by Mr. and Mrs. Herman Cooley who had been married the longest, 56 years; the oldest woman, Mrs. George Stable won a prize as did Ernest Knight for the oldest man. Mrs. Abe Jones for the most great, great grandchildren and Mrs. Gus Weller received a prize for the one born the fartherest distance away. The prizes were under the of Coalville News The Theodore Robinson family reunion was held at the Coalville City Park on June 24. All eight children and their families were present. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Robinson and four children, Coalville; Mr. and Mrs. Elden D. Robinson, and six children, Ft. Wayne, Ind.; Mr. and Mrs. Darrell S. Robin- son and five children, Anchorage, Alaska; Mr. and Mrs. Larry I. Anderson and four children, Sunset; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fitzgerald and six chil- - dren, Kamas; Mr. and Mrs., Roger E. Robinson and three children, Midvale; Mr. and Mrs. Verlan E. Robinson and two children, West Point; Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Robinson, Salt Lake City. There was a total of 18 adults and 30 grandchil- dren for the gathering. Elden and family had come west for June conference and surprised everyone with the news that he had been made Bishop of the Ft. Wayne 2nd Ward. Sunday night he flew home leaving his wife, RaNae and family to visit friends and relatives for a month. Darrell and his family are on a two week vacation from Anchorage. On Friday, June 22, Mr. and SEMI-ANNUA- Coalville, Utah Thursday, June 28, 1973 Mrs. LaVell Staley journeyed to Evanston to attend the wedding reception of their grandMarilee Staley and Boyd Beaty. Marilee is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mont Staley. Others in attendance from the Coalville area were Mr. and Mrs. Owen Staley, daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Glendon Ander- -' son, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Roath and Mr. and Mrs. Moore. Laurel Dearden will be the Junior Sunday School organist. WOODLAND WARD The Woodland Ward was the setting for a lovely dinner in uonor of the folks' in our Stake over age 70. President Fred Marchant was in charge of the affair, which was planned under the chairmanship of Hazel Knight and Hazel Lefler. A ham dinner was served toa large crowd under the direction of LaDonna Hardman of lief Society. was master Moon and LaRetta the Woodland ReG. Reed Marchant of ceremonies for the program: Terry Roth played his guitar and sang; a reading by Irene Hoyt; yodeling by Mrs. George Stable who is 91 years Ifliel Powell Funeral SHORT SLEEVE SHORT SLEEVE filler Friday (f Mrs. Ethel Salmon Powell of Lewiston, Idaho died in a hospital at Lewiston Monday, June 25, 1973. She was born June 12, 1892 at Coalville, Utah to James Salmon and Emma Jones Salmon. She was married January 23, 1918 to Morrell Powell in the Salt Lake IDS Temple in Salt Lake City. She has been a dedicated worker in the LDS Church all her life. Her survivors are: ' son and daughters, Lt. Col. James F. Powell, Sacramento, Calif.; Mrs. Helen Bartosh, SantaAna, Calif.; Mrs. Louise Luce, Spokane, Wash.; Mrs. Gwen Sims, Bellevue, Idaho; Mrs. Julia Wright, Yorba Linda, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren; brother, Clyde L. Salmon, Coalville; sisters, May belle S. Bullock, Coalville; Lucille Nelson, Ogden.
