Belva Nowling enjoyed having Monday, Mr. and Mrs. Jewel Thaxton of River ton and Mr. and Mrs. LaVern as visitors ' Lewis. Chelty Anderton enjoyed having her daughter, Kathy, spend Saturday and Sunday with her. Saturday evening, they visited with Don Anderton and family who recently moved to Milton. Sunday visitors at Chelty's home were: Alice Moore, Sherry Jolley and son Chad, Bill and Thelma Hersh, Don and family, Barry and Sandy Anderton and son Mike Anderton and his fiance and Hazel Boyer. Mike left Monday for his mission in Chile. Dinner guests Sunday at the home of George and Violet Ovard were: Violets brother Llovd and Minnie Carter and granddaughter, Jolene Sanders, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Ovard and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Ovard and family. Lloyd and Mary Wilde enjoyed having their grandchildren, LuCinda and Clay Carter spend a few days with them, children of Vernal and Connie Carter of Porterville. Visiting over the week-en- d with Mrs. Marguerite Paskett were her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Robert D. Corlis (Merla) from Clarkston, Washington. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Glen (FaeDeU) Raney, a granddaughter. Mrs. Paskett enjoyed seeing friends from Riverton, Mr. and Mrs. Jewel Tliaxton. They attended the Hill Cummorah Pageant together in 1959. party was given at the Henefer Park on Tuesday, for Grant and EmmaRich- -, ins and family. They will be living in Cinncinatti, Ohio for the next year, where Grant will obtain his Masters Degree in math. Besides Mr. and Mrs. Jo Turner, grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Carl Isakson of Peoa and great grandmother is Mrs. Maude Turner of Elko, Nevada. It was an excitlngoccaslon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Maxwell when they welcomed their new grandson home from the Summit County HospitaL The brand new baby boy, Rory Thomas is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Swensen (Connie Maxwell). Connie and. her new son will be spending a month at her parent's home while her husband, Tom com- pletes his training at Ft. Lee, Virginia. The new father had the thrill of coming in on a Jet to spend two days getting acquaint- ed with his new son. Very happy grandparents are Mr, and Mrs. Leon Maxwell and Mr. and Mrs. James Swen- sen. Congratulations to all on their new callings. Bill and Jane Stuart of Bakersfield, California spent a few days visiting with Wend all and Verl Dugdale. They spent one day visiting and fishing with Gwen and Vera Dugdale also. Allen Prescott, son of Barbara Prescott had a car he was working on fall on his hand, cutting his finger off. The family members of Art and Sarah Bates met over the weekend at the old home on the Provo River for their reunion. Most of the children were there to spend the night camping. Kathryn Prescott spent the weekend in Salt Lake with her sister Ella Black. On Sunday, they went to Payson to visit Elwood Hallam who is in the hospital there. Leland and Kathryn Prescott received word on Monday of the birth of their first grandchild. A baby girl was born to the happy parents, Bill and Lois Beran who Just recently moved to Carson, California. The little miss weighed 4 lb. 2 oz. Mother and baby ire both doing fine. Kathryn will go to help Lois when the baby gains 5 lb. and will then be able to leave the hospital. Ted, Ivy and Ruth Hallam and LeeAnn Hopfenbeck went to Payson on Sunday to see Elwood Hallam who suffered another heart attack on Saturday. Elwood isnt doing too well at this writing. While there, another brother, Lee Hallam, was admitted Into the hospital with Clyde Lambs in Colorado Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Lamb have returned home following a three weeks visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Overturf and family in Aurora, Colorado. During the last weeks visit their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Larry (Kay) Franson and children from Salt Lake were also with them. While In Colorado the group made several side trips to Interesting places. They visited the old mining town of Central City which has been turned Into a tourist attraction. Also, they spent some time at an old pioneer cemetery where they copied verses down from the headstones. This was a common custom years ago to have a verse printed on the headstones. Soma were very long, others very short and Informative. Earl McNeil arrived home on Wednesday for a thirty-seve- n day leave from Viet Nam. David Buhler was thrown from a horse while chasing cattle. He has been in a Salt Lake hospital. We all wish him a speedy recovery. Jack and Rae Prescott and family spent Sunday in Salt Lake at the Green family reunion held at Jordan Park. Rae Prescotts mother and brother, Verda and Tommy Bailey of Salt Lake is spending a few days visiting with Jack and Rae and family.
