Show News About Kamas Valley Folks Sunday dinner guests of Dick and Arlene Wilde were Ralph and Judy Brooks and family of Ogden. Ken and Brenda White and family and Hike and Metti Fitzgerald went camping and fishing Saturday and Sunday up at Wolf . Creek. Marsha Hickman spent a week in Milford visiting with her father. Glendon and Wanda Miles and Bart went to Delta Saturday to visit with Bob and Sherree and son Cody. Bart stayed down to help Bob for a few weeks. Jake and Helen Anderson and their grandchildren, Vance, Tracy and Parry spent Sunday in Salt Lake with Koy and Pat Anderson and their family. They brought Becky home with them. She has spent the last week stay ing with Pat and Koy, and Parry is staying with them now for several days. Harris and Clyda Carpenter and family spent Friday night and Saturday with his parents, Tim and Lydia. They were from Colorado Springs to Burley, Idaho where they will be living. en-ro- Many townspeople attended the open house in honor of Glen Leavitt and his new wife. The Walden Lambert family left Thursday to begin their move to Canada. Visiting DeVon and Louise Wilde last week was her mother and sister, Mrs, Faucett and Jackie Mecham and boys of Wallsburg. On Saturday night, Devon's girls Kerry, Cindy and Shelly of Elko came to spend the summer with them. Kerry returned to Elko Sunday as she is employed there. Sunday, Louise's sister and family came to spend the day, Ed and Betty Wall of Wallsburg. We would like to welcome Mike and Nancy O'Driscoll to Kamas. They have been living in Salt Lake. Mae Atkinson was happy to have her son Crae and his wife and family of Salt Lake spend the weekend with her. On Sunday, Crae and Lois and family had a weenie roast with Dan and LuDean Wilde and family. The Sew and Sew Club met Wednesday night at the home of Kathy Gordon. Janice Cry- stal was Twenty were present and they decided on their Fiesta float, and they will be in charge of the con- cession stands duringthe Fiesta Days. Refreshments were served. Sunday dinner guests at the home of Ward and Jo Blazzard were LaVerl and Alene Bush-e- ll, Bonnie Lassche and her guest from Wales, Colin Gibbon. Bob and Barbara Hoyt and Albert and Louise Wagstaff attended the BoysState graduation exercises in LoganSaturdayfor their sons, Kevin and David. Tim Gines rode home with Albert and Louise and David. The boys had a real good time and learned a lot of things concerning the government. We are very proud of two of our local pis, Marla Gines and Brenda Fitzgerald. They competed in the Summit County Rodeo Contest. Brenda was chosen 2nd attendant and Marla won Miss Congeniality. Congratulations girls. Bennett Smith of Winnimucca Nevada was in town last week visiting with his sisters, Barbara Hoyt and Verlie Taylor. Orvil and Maxine Minchey and son Lowell traveled to Cedar City Friday to attend their daughter Marlene's graduation exercises from Girls State. They toured around Southern Kamas Theatre Phone 783-446- to Enterprise, St. Utah, ping George, and Zions Canyon, returning home on Sunday. Demont and Zola Mae Lott and four children recently returned home after vacationing in California. They spent a week with Jeff and Judy McNeil In Ocean-sid- e. They enjoyed ping to Disneyland and the San Dep Zoo and swimming at the beach every day. They also visited with relatives. They went iq the coast to Disneyland, Knottsberry Farm, the Alligator Farm and Marine Land. They also toured around Los Anples. Yvonne Jewkes is still in the LD6 Hospital in very serious condition. She is in intensive care and will be for sometime. Her sister, Mrs. Last from Washington is here to help out as much as possible, as is their mother, Mrs. Polve. Williams, and his twin brother Michael Lee, who is also a 1st lieutenant in the United States regular army, were selected by their brother David Bruce to be his "Best Men for his wedding to Miss Marva Lou Gundry on June 4 in Salt Lake City. KAMAS FENCE-FACT- IftNMRNtFfNCft the Paces visited LosAngeles, Marineland, Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, the San Diego Zoo and Sea World. They also enjoyed two cruises on the ocean. On the return trip home they drove through Mexico, Blythe, California and Lake Havasu City and the Grand Canyon. It was a week of fun and excitement but the Paces are happy to be home again.
