Owen Roberts, Chairman of the Summit County Soil Conservation District is seen presenting a plaque to Mr. Albert Gibbons of Wanshlp, The plaque Is honoring Hr. Gibbons for 24 years service as a district supervisor. Mr. Gibbons was one of the original supervisors When the district was organized ip 1943. He has served as secretary-treasurer all of this time. Mr. Gibbons has done much in conservation work. He has always taken great pride in his farm and surroundings. His home and grounds show this. He has been a member of the Fire Board; a member of the bishropic; a promoter of the care of the town cemetery and has always been willing to pass on valuable horses horses to information neighboring farmers when they needed his wisdom and experience. Mr. Gibbons has four children: Nets Pace and Ruth Maxwell of Wanshlp; Ella Boyer of Hoytsville and Beta Moore who lives in Lehi. He has fifteen grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Mr. Gibbons and his wife, Ann are still living on the family farm in Wanshlp. Fifty Lydia Paskett Dies at 90, Funeral June 5 Lydia Esthe r Willis Paskett, 90, of Henefer, died June 6 at the LD6 Hospital in Mrs. Salt Lake City. Mrs. Paskett was born June 6, 1880, in Salt Lake City, a daughter of George W, and Eliza R. Kiddle Willis. She was married to Curtis J. Paskett on April 20, 1910, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a member of the Henefer LDS Ward and served as ward music and choral director. She also served in the Summit Stake Music department and Relief Society. She was a member of Henefer Camp, Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Surviving are her husband of Henefer; two sons and one d a u gh t e r, Sherman Paskett, Sacramento, Calif.; Boyd PasMax O. six girls and teachers enjoyed a kett, Henefer; Mrs. Salt (Josephine) Waddoups, night of special help and Ideas Lake a grandson and a City; on beauty. Rhea met them in Salt Lake and they drove to Twin Falls, Idaho and picked up Lydia Call, a sister and drove to Toppenlsh, Washington to visit Della Murdock, another sister. On their way back, they drove through Logan Canyon into Bear. Lake and to Liberty, Idaho, their old home town. They saw several friends and visited the 'cemetery, tt was a short trip but a very talkative one as they hadn't been together for ten years. Mary and Allen left Thursday to drive back to Niagara. Tessa Is staying for a while.
