Show South High Notes Mrs. Roy Judd South Summit students were let out of school Wednesday, March 3, at 2:15 p.m. to watch the Senior High Intramural Championship game between the Seniors and the faculty. The faculty started out with a big lead but the Seniors soon closed the gap and were in the lead at the half. In the second half the Seniors led all the way and begt the faculty 7, The Junior High btramural game was held Wednesday, March 3 at noon. The teams were the Knicks and the Celtics. Mrs. Roy Judd of Coalville attended this conference. Sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Utah and the League of Women Voters Education Fund, the conference is aimed at training citizens for participation in governmental decisions affecting air quality in Utah. The conferees were nominated from within their communities. "This conference is an effort to marshal into action the concern which citizens everywhere are voicing about the air they breathe," stated Mrs. Donald F. Neilsen, the Utah Leagues air quality project chairman. "These men and women will go back home better prepared to work for clean air." Utah is one of four states thosen to sponsor such a conference, others being held in Nevada, Tennessee and North Carolina. John Ricketts Dies at Ogden KAMA John Clifford Ricketts, 71, died March 6 at St. Benedict's Hospital after an extended ill-ne- ss. Mr. Ricketts was born May 29, 1899 in Kamas, a son of GardeU and Ruth Williams 4 Ricketts. On July 6, 1920, he was married to Orah Zufelt in Heber, OAKLE- YFay Monroe Frazier, 76, died March 4, 1971 in a Salt Lake hospital. He was born March 27, 1894, Oakley to John Leonard and Elizabeth McMichael Frazier. Married Afton Hortln Oct. 1, 1917; later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She died Oct. 16, 1941. Married Mildred Flora Strauser, June 28, 1944; Salt Lake Temple. She died Feb. 22, 1969. Mr. Frazier was a veteran WWI: member Garden Park Ward. Survivors: son, daughters, Blaine H., Mrs. Joseph (Katherine) Mills, both Salt Lake City; Mrs. Pauline F. Brown, Bountiful; seven grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Marilda "Mlda" Peterson, Salt Lake City. Funeral services were held Utah. He had worked as a clerk in the Ogden Union Railway and Co. freight house and Depot retired in 1966. He received his education in Kamas Summit and had lived in Ogden for 48 years. He was a member of the 27th Ward. Surviving are his widow of Ogden, four sons and four daughters, Ralph P. Ricketts, Mrs. James (Violet L.) Woods, both of Riverdale; Keith Ricketts, Baldwin Park, Calif.; Delbert R. Ricketts, Jerry D. Ricketts, Mrs. Twila J. Marks, Mrs. Olin (Shirley L.) Howard, aU of Ogden; Mrs. Bullah F. Urquidez, Denver, Colo.; 23 grandchildren, 16 one brother and two Kenneth N. Ricketts, sisters, Mrs. Paulene Kennlson, Mrs. Loretta Free, all of Ogden.
