Show Summit County Officials Attend Annual Convention at Salt Lake Summit County officials who attended the county officials convention held in the Salt Palace January 22, 23 and 24 were Reed Pace, clerk; Blanche Young, treasurer; Erma Prescott, deputy assessor; Imogene Slddoway, deputy clerk; Wanda Spriggs, recorder; Carlos Porter, commissioner; Robert Orton, attorney and Leon Wilde,, deputy sheriff. The general session Included an address hy llr. Conrad M. Fowler, National President of the Association of Counties who Is from Shelby County, Ala. The local representatives also attended a banquet Thursday evening honoring past presidents and a hockey game Friday Senator Hughes Brockbank qioke on the Investment Challenge; Maurice Byrd, treasurer of Utah County moke on Uniform Accounting, valuation and taxation notices. Curtis Minor, Cache County, moke on legislation which could be requested, levies and tax collection. Mrs. Young was also asked to relate to the gram her experience during the bank failure and how It effected her office operation. Roberts, Assistant Manager of the Ogden Social Security office. 'You do not have to apply for this Increase, said Mr. Roberts. K will come to you automatically. The Increase will be shown on the March check which you will receive about April 3rd. The Increase for the months of January and February will be sent in a separate check and you should receive this check later In April Mr. Roberts will visit Coalville on Wednesday, February 4, 1970.
