After completing requirements for his master's degree at Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah, In 1957, Dr. Pace attended Purdue University, Lafayette, Ind., where he received his doctorate In I960. Before Us appointment tothe Montana faculty in Missonis, Dr. Pace taught both on Ugh school and college levels. He was speech and English instructor at Box Elder County High School, Brigham City, Utah, In 1955-5- 6 and later was a graduate teaching assistant and Instructor at Purdue. He was an associate profes' sor at Parsons College, Fair-fiel- d, Dr. town, from 1960-6- 2. Pace served as speech department chairman at Parsons from 1961-6- 2. He was a lecturer at Bowdoin College, Brunswick, Mains, in 1961 and he was an assistant professor at Fresno State College, Fresno before Calif., from 1962-6- 6, joining the University of Montana faculty. Dr. Pace is affiliated with PI Kappa Delta, national forensic fraternity, Alpha Kappa Delta, national sociological society, and Alpha Epsilon Rhq on national fraternity. He is also a member 'of the National Society for the Study pf Communication, Speech Association of America, Western Speech Association, Central State Speech Association and the American Forensics Association. Dr. Pace, who has done extensive writing, Is author of a number of articles which have appeared in several publications. He is married to the former Gas Tueller of Geneva, Idaho. The couple have five children. Dr. Pace is a member of Rotary Club. SEPTEMBER 2 Saturday night, Trooper Devon Wilde, of the Utah Highway Patrol was called to a car wreck up Mirror Lake canyon. William Evans was coming down the highway when his car went out of control, going over an embankment, flying over trees and bushes before finally coming to rest at the foot of the hilL Trooper Wilde stated Mr. Evans was taken by ambulance to the Heber hospital, where he was later transferred to a Salt Lake hospital.
