The first session started Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in which the results found all the Brave team members pin over So. SumTed Paskett lost by pin mit; to So. Summit. The seniors are really getting excited, anyway some are. The rest are either scared or sad. They only have 13 weeks left of this school year! Anyway the year has been fun and exciting. Last week highlights started off with the FFA Sweetheart contest. Monday a Chicken Chase was held for the contestants. Winners were Denise Hobson and Diane Dillree. The following day the sheep and chicken judging contest was held which found Lodell Giles as winner. On the 14th the cow milking contest was held at Browns Dairy which was 21, 1974 February Theme Is Mardi Gras Cub Scout Pack 3161, Den met on February 7 with their leader, Janet Diaz. The boys worked on invitations for their upcoming pack meeting. The Cubs theme for February is Mardi Gras. A get well card was sent to Pack Secretary, Judy Hemrich who had been ill. Jan Foust supplied cookies for the group. Pack meeting will be held on Feb. 27 at 7:30 p.m. at the NJS. High School cafeteria. Scouts, leaders and pack committee will be in Mardi Gras costume. After the basketball game with South Rich, the Freshman held their Fling which turned out to be a real success. They really went all out but was well worth their efforts.
