Little Alisa Ann Page was chosen Princess to help reign over this celebration June 15, in the annual Little Princess Contest. A theme of "When You Wish Upon A Star" presented 18 little kindergarden graduates with a loving cup, magic wand and small gift. Alisa Ann was chosen Princess from among those 18 charming little girls. Alisa Ann, the daughter of Koy and Phyllis Page of Oakley, was sponsored by Kens Kash, Oakley. Alisa's attendants were, first runner-u- p, Loraine Woolsten-hulm- e, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Woolstenhulme, sponsored by The Sew and Sew Club. He was in Kane County for eight years and in July, 1953, was assigned to Summit County, where he has been for the pak nineteen years until his retirement June 30, 1972. Please come and join in and have a Great Timel REED MOORE REED MOORE, Summit County Agricultural Agent, has retired after 39 years of public service. Mr. Moore was born in the forming community of Shelton, Idaho, reared on a farm near Ririe, Idaho. He went to elementary school in Shelton and at- tended High School in Idaho Falls. He also attended two years of college at Ricks College, Rexburg, Idaho, taught two years at Hibbard Elementary School, then went on a mission for the LDS Church in the North-centr- al States Mission in Minnesota. Here he spent 27 months and returned in 1933 and accepted a Job teaching in Rex- burg schools. In the fall of was County Chairman of the Utah 1,1 J. County Fair, he and Mrs. Moore moved to Logan to attend 1934 the Utah State University, from which he graduated in theSpring of 1936 with a BS degree in Agricultural Economics. REED ACCEPTED a teaching position in Beaver and taught Vocational Agriculture for eight years. After this he accepted a Centennial In 1947, organized the livestock improvement program, helped in alfalfa seed production, had a read active 4-- H program. IN SUMMIT COUNTY he has been a member of the Fair Board for 19 years, helped organize the Summit County Cattlemans Association and serv- ed as its secretary for 11 years, has been very effective inhelping to organize the Summit County Council of Governments, has had a very active H program along with a faithful Council, has had a good weed control program, has carried on crop and livestock improvement programs. Many more activities have been carried on under his direction, one in particular beingthe Beautification program which has been most effective in all 4-- 4-- H parts of the county. Mr. Moore served as President of the County Agents Association of Utah in 1954, and has been chairman of the Professional Training Committee for the past 10 years.
