Show Kamas News Accident Claims Doug and Tean Simpson spent the weekend InSt. George where they went through the Temple with LaVell and Sheila Atkinson. They toured the Parks while in the area. Julie Lambert, daughter of Jack and Bonnie Lassche spent two weeks in Idaho .and California. She stayed with her aunt and uncle. Carrol and Leone Lambert and family. She also visited with her dad while there. Faye Sweeneys son Kent is in Las Vegas visiting his father, Whiz Sweeney for a couple of weeks. Kelly Stillwell and children are here spending a few days with her parents, Ned and Elaine Prescott. They are living in Cashmere, Washington. Orvil Minchey is still in the Coalville hospital, but is feeling better. He hopes to be home this week. Orvil and Maxines son and wife, Todd and Audrey are here for a week visiting the family. Todd is stationed at Griffon AFB in Indiana. We are very happy to report that Yvonne Jewkes was released from the LDS Hospital on Monday. Her mother, Mrs. Folve has moved to Kamas and wiU be living in the house behind the hotel. Life of David Perkins Mr. and Mrs. Walter Zubeck of Coalville, Utah flew to Lafayette, La. on Wednesday, May word of the accidental drowning of Mrs. Zubecks son, Sgt. David Per31, after receiving kins. Sgt. Perkins, a native of Rawlins, Wyo. graduated from Platte Valley High School in 1961, in Saratoga, Wyoming. He had lived in Lafayette for the past two years, residing at 202 Kim Drive. Previous to moving to Lafayette, Sgt. Perkins was serving with the Air Corps and was stationed in Taiwan for two years. He had spent a total of ten years in the service of his country. At the time of his death he was a member of the UjS. Air Force, being stationed with the University of Southwestern Louisiana R.O.T.C. unit. H was also attending UJS.L. and was in the process of obtaining his B. A. degree. Funeral services were held at the Delhomme Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was in Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Petersburg, Fla. In addition to his mother, Mrs. Zubeck and his step father, he is survived by his wife Virginia Ann Githens Perkins, his aunt Mildred Brookey of Ogden; an uncle, Carl Brookey of Sinclair, Wyoming and sev- eral cousins. Late in the afternoon, her sister, Wilma and Leonard Morris of Evanston and a niece, Bonnie Peterson of Salt Lake dropped in for a visit. Our sincere sympathy is extended to Margaret Mitchell, Tommy Thompson and Ted Muir and their families on the loss of their loved ones. Alan and Sheila Lewis and family spent a week in California.
