Show .1 Woodland News Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hardman have been happy to have their daughter Louise Farley and children come to stay with them for a few days after the loss of Louise's baby. On the weekend they had Mr. Farley there, also their son Wayne and family. Their other son Mel and family visited with them also. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Cooley accompanied their daughter and son in law, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Atkinson on a trip to Southern Utah over the past weekend. They stopped on the way in Price to decorate the craves and then went, to visit points of interest in the state. The Roy Thackers of Bountiful have moved to the Diamond Bar X Ranch for the summer. Both Mr. and Mrs. Thacker are happy to be here out of the city for the summer months, as are their children Lynn, Keven, Brad, Shane and Sue. Mr. and Mrs. Robert McGregor and daughter Robyn are busy fixing up their art studio in Kamas getting it ready for the opening Saturday, June 3. They have painted and fixed up the old Lindsay Holt confectionary and will give art lessons and have a TJIT fi'i mhr . A.. boutique shop, also. Mrs. Edith Carlile went to Heber City with her son John and family. There she joined the rest of her family to enjoy the Memorial Day weekend. They returned to Woodland on Monday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Clawson were busy through this past week as their daughter and son in law, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hanson are getting ready to move to Albuquerque, New Mexico. "Nancy and Bill graduated last week from the Brigham Young University and Bill has employment with a large firm in New Mexico. Lloyd and Carol and family attended the grad THE SUMMIT COUNTY HKK 3 uation ceremonies and then helped them get some of their belongings packed and ready to move. On the weekend Nancy and Bill and son spent some time visiting in Woodland and attended church here. Mrs. Hazel Lefler was happy on Memorial Day as much of her family was home to hlp her spend the day and many , many of her friends called on her ing the weekend. Thursday, June as there were many summer home people up for the holiday and many old Ward mutnlors who liad come home to visit. A nice program was enjoyed by all, under the direction or Bishop Thomas Lefler. A youth chorus, consisting of our MIA dur- Ward Conference was held in the Woodland Ward Sunday. Stake President Fred Marchant and his two councilors, President Lyle Peterson, and President Rex Walker presided. A large crowd was in attendance . age boys and girls sang, also. Colleen Moon is home now after teaching a year at the Randolph High School. She will attend some more schooling this summer and will also lx; doing some vacationing. She is enjoying her family for awhile before she starts into her schooling again.
