Hope he is soon feeling better and able to come home. Glendon and Wanda Miles and son Bart spent a couple of days in Ferron with their daughter Dee and Glenda and Thomas and son Terry Dee. While there, they went fishing at Joe's Valley Reservoir. Mr. and Mrs. Ellsworth Gines were happy to have Mr. and Mrs. Russ Berg (Sharon Gines) and twin daughters Lynnett and Annette of Lawndale, Calif., home for ten days. While here they attended the Leo Smith Reunion at Wolf Creek for a week end camp. Thursday evening everyone enjoyed going to son-in-la- w, Four Generations In Johnson Family This new baby, Gary Wendell Davis, completes the fourth generation of the late Elmer Johnson family. Holding the baby is his mother, Mrs. Gary Colleen Moon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Moon left Thursday morning by bus to go to Palmyra, New York where she will participate in the Hill Cumorah Pageant. There were girls leaving the Salt Lake area to participate in this pageant. It is quite an honor to be in this spectacular performance and we congratulate Colleen. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell of Salt Lake City were guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carllle Knight over the weekend. They and another couple stayed over and sang a quartet at the Sacrament MeetBar-row- es ing Sunday night. John Moon spent a night in the hospital after a cow kicked him in the head requiring many stitches. John is at home now but is confined pretty much to his bed. Seth Winterton and his father, Mr. DeLoy Winterton were speakers at the Sacrament Meeting Sunday evening. Kay Fitzgerald was sustained to be ordained a Priest. Mrs. Romney Stewart is in the Wasatch County hospital recovering from surgery. We wish her a speedy recovery. Mr. and Mrs. Ellsworth Gines have been happy to have two of their grandsons, Brian and Kent Gines, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Gines of Bountiful visit with them through the past week. Sharon and Russ Berg and twin daughters left for their home in Lawndale, California last week after visiting friends and relatives hereandlnHeber. Ellsworth Gines is layed tf after having an automobile accident last week, when a truck hit into his truck, knocking it out into the Held. Mr. Gines had his grandson, Brian with him but he fortunately was not hurt. Ellsworth visited the office of Dr. Holbrook in Salt Lake and found that his arm is badly bruised but not any broken bones. Susie went back to Salt Lake with them to spend a few days. Wally Woolstenhulme is in the new rest home in Heber. He is teeling pretty good. Darwin and Beulah Woolstenhulme are adding a new carport and storage room onto their duplex. Beth Wilde was out from Salt Lake over the weekend. Last weekend she brought a friend with her, Mrs. Often. Gerald and Delora Young and children Jennie Lynn, Stanley and Lance have gone to Yellowstone Park for the week. Trev Wilde, son of Wendall and Bonnie went swimming at the foils in Kamas, and tore off the end of his finger. It took the doctor 45 minutes to stitch it up. Ivan Park is home from the hospital and doing fine. The Boy Scouts have gone to the East Fork of the Bear River for the week with their Scoutmaster, Cleve Waite. Jerry Brusnahan and family have moved into the PatCossey home here in Oakley. Mr. and Mrs. Terry Raff have moved into their new home, up by the cemetery. Brian Woolstenhulme, son of Keith and Shirley has been in the Primary Childrens Hospital where he had heart surgery. He is home now and doing real well. Pettifoggers, at the Sundance Theater. Friday evening they were amazed to see Sharons twins, 2 12 years did swim so well. They even went off the diving board and swam to the side and loved it. They returned to California on July 18. Friday, Glendon and Wanda went to Salt Lake where they nl met her nephew, Gary at the airport. He lives in Los Altos, California and will be spending some time here in Kamas visiting with his relatives. Tim and Lydia Carpenter were very thrilled when they received word that they were new grandma and grandpa again. The proud parents of anew baby girl are Johnnie and Darlene Carpenter of Mlnnapolls, Minnesota. She was born on July 15 and weighed 7 lb. 11 oz. No name has been decided on at this time. She has a brother Troy and three sisters, Jennie, Jackie and Natalie. Grandma Ima Wilde went to Minneapolis to spend a few days with them. The new baby has a great grandmother, Mrs. Dessie Butler at LeGrande, Oregon. A shower was held Saturday for Tanya Davies, daughter of Dr. Joseph K. and Pauline Taylor Davies, up at Glendale at Mrs. Taylor's cabin. There were 14 present and a very good time was enjoyed by all who attended. Jay Taylor has moved to San Bernardino. He says he is really enjoying his minion. Pat O Driscoll is in the Hoty Cross Hospital after having a 3,090 pound piece of steel foil on him at IM&L, his place of employment, last Wednesday. He suffered arm and chest injuries. He is expected home some time this week. Robbie O'Driscoll, son of Pat and Agnes ODriscoll is now employed in the office of DIAL in Salt Lake City. Sunday visitors of Agnes O Driscoll were her mother and sister at Pleasant Grove, Mrs. Susie Church and Norma Petticoats A Tom-masl- Church. Bill and Pat Darcey are very excited over the arrival of their first daughter, born July 14 is her great grandmother. John Thomas, son of ElUsand Nell Thomas spent afewdaysln a Salt Lake hospital undergoing tests. Scott and Patsy Miles spent the weekend in Manti visiting her mother, Mrs. Orrln Sorenson. Stan and Mardean Skelly, and Dennis and Sherry Holdaway and two children of Las Vegas were in town over the weekend. They came to attend the fiftieth wedding anniversary of Mardeans parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill A 75-9-- proper verification as required therein. Visiting Larry and Therma Turner Sunday was his brother Johnnie and family of Salt Lake. One hundred mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles and cousins gathered at the Albert L. Wag-sta- ff form in Kamas Saturday afternoon, July 18. After a picnic was enjoyed out under the trees, every one had fun riding horses, playing volleyball and softball, and pitching horseshoes or Just relaxing and visiting. Cathy Turnbow Larsen was the proud mother of the youngest child present, baby girl Just 3 weeks old. Everyone spent a very enjoyable afternoon together.
