Stephens held a family reunion Sunday July 16th at the Morgan Lions lodge in Porterville. desAmong the eighty-nin- e cendants present were the following daughters and their husbands, Irene and Sam Hawser and Ruth and Neil Lythgoe, Henefer; Feral and Lawrence Newman and Lenore and Steve Dearden, Ogden; Viola and Mark Cook, Syracuse and Mrs. Edna Stephens wife of the late Calvin Stephens of Salt Lake. Edna's son, Keith and family of Denver, Colorado, is visiting with his mother in Salt Lake and was among the grandchildren who were present. The group enjoyed a delicious smorgasborg dinner, after-whlthe afternoon was spent pitching horseshoes, playing softball and visiting. All the young children present were dlssappolnted though, when it started to rain causing them to cancel the weiner roast and watermelon bust which had been planned. The Miss Bonnie Boyer 4-- Sets Wedding Date Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Boyer of Coalville are happy to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Bonnie Boyer to Vernal son of Mr. and Mrs. Dari of Kamas. The bride-to-is currently enrolled at Utah Technical College where she is studying to be a secretary. Bonnie is a 1966 graduate of North Summit High School. The groom is a 1966 graduate of South Summit High School and is presently working at the Blazzard Lumber Company at Kamas. The couple are planning an October 13 wedding which will be solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. The happy couple will be honored at a reception following the ceremony, at the Summit Stake House, in Coalville. The newlyweds will make their home in Park City where Vernal will be employed as assistant manager of the ski lift. for Reeda's Gang Reeda Warner and 14 young ladles enjoyed a party in honor of Reeda's 12th birthday that included swimming, refreshments and sleeping out Monday, July 17. The girls swam in the pool in the afternoon then following refreshments of sandwiches, relishes, punch and cupcakes, gathered up their sleeping bags and spent the night 'sleeping on the lawn. Hospital but came home Sunday and is feeling a little better. On Monday, July 3, 1967, the Summit County Commissioners met with parties interested in the South ForkRoad to determine whether or not the county should continue to maintain the road. After hearing arguments from both sides and carefully discussing the matter, the commissioners unanimously resolved that the county would continue to maintain the South Fork Road up to the Newton gate and to the South Fork Bridge. The road will not be open to the public beyond that point. Henefer Church Speakers at church Sunday evening were Mrs. LaNae Ovard who represented the Relief Society presidency recently re- leased, and Mrs. Sharlene Anderton the new President and her counselor, Mrs. LuGene Jones. Mrs. Joye Ovard the other counselor bore her testimony through an organ solo. Mrs. Hazel Frodgham was sustained as the new secretary. TV REPAIR An addition to Summit County business circles is semi in the opening of a TV repair shop by Leonard Llllenthol who recently moved to Henefer from San Leandro, Calif. Mr. Lilienthol has been engaged in TV repair service for some time having taken TV Repair at a trade school in California in 1958 He will be equipped to do all testing and repair work for both Mark and white and color sets. Mr. Lilienthol is married to Jhe former Kaylene Taylor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Taylor of Henefer and they are living in the Taylor farm house Just outside Henefer where the repair shop will be housed. Mrs. Mabel McNeill of American Fork and Rbbda Huntsman of Price, Utah were the guest of Dr. and Mrs. Frank Rees for several days this week. They are the sisters of Mrs. Rees and enjoyed their visit very much.
