All of the states west of the Mississippi river have already ratified the amendment except Idaho, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New1 Mexico, South Dakota tex-aUtah and Wyoming. Indications are that all of those states will ratify the ammendment in their present sessions of legislatures. Arizona, California and Colorado have already ratified the amendment. Idaho, Nevada and WyomIn the event Utah fails ing are assured of ratification. to ratify it would be left as the only black spot in the entire intermountain territory. Among the most learned members of the American Bar association we find Charles C. Burlingame, of the New York City Bar, n president of the national committee for ratification of the Child Labor amendment, leading the fight for ratification. Newton D.
