Show Death Claims Mary E. Miner Ellen Clark Milner 67, 1472 Eleventh East St., wife of Alma Frank Milner and mother of Public Safety Commissioner L. C. Romney, Saturday morning, Feb. 21. Death was attributed to injuries received in an automobile au-tomobile accident Jan. 28, when the car in which she was driving driv-ing with "her husband collided with another car at First South and Fifth East St. . Born in Salt Lake March 1, 1880, Mrs. Milner was a daugh-j ter of Lorenzo S. Clark and Mary R. Wagstaff Clark. She was educated in Salt Lake City schools and graduated from the University of Utah in 1901. An active memDer ot tne l,. d. a. Church, Mrs. Milner served as president of the Emerson Ward Relief Society. At the time of her death Mrs. Milner was an officer of the Emerson Camp, Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She was married to Mr. Milner Mil-ner in Salt Lake Sept. 9, 1920. Mr. Milner is owner-manager of Milner's Laura Larson Ice Cream Shop. 2103 South Eleventh Elev-enth East St. Survivors include her husband; hus-band; four sons, C. B. Stewart Romney, ' William C. Romney, Commissioner L. C. Romney and David C. Romney; two daughters, Mary Alma Milner and Mrs. Frances Jane Milner Besse, Salt Lake; twenty-one grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and two brothers and two sisters, Lorenzo and Benjamin Ben-jamin T. Clark, Mrs. Mattie C. Sanford and Mrs. D. C. Kimball, Kim-ball, Salt Lake. |
