Show This week thieves have been plying their avocation by stealing a watch out of the housa of C. A. Terry; a suit of underwear from the clothesline at C. Seggmiller's; an undershirt, a pair of drawers, a pair of men's socks, and a blanket from the clothesline of Arthur Miles. As yet the culprits have not been caught and it is not known wheth- er ilia thieves are residents or tramps, but care should be taken so as not to give such hucksters an opportunity to pilfer. In some parts, every tramp in the country would have been arrested on suspicion under such circumstances, and when proven innocent would then have been "turned loose and told to "skip " |
