Show No XSoltor. It is quite amusing to hear some of the .Democrats accuse us of "Bolting the Democratic ranks" by putting up Henry M. Teller for j President of the U. S. but we -l were not ' aware that we I were running a Democratic paper! ; neither did we think we were , running a Eepublican paper; for1 we have repeatedly stated that we ! were running an independent sheet, and supposed that all our readers understood us in that light! Notwithstanding Not-withstanding our running nn independent in-dependent periodical, it doeanot hinder us selling space tur both the Democratic a n d Republican Parties and allowing each to have the space purchased edited in favor of their cause. So, if either or both parties desire to enter into a contract and put up the ready means, we are ready for a deal. Or, we will sell out our pi nt to either party and then they can have full control. What say you? As for a candidate for President Pres-ident we want a Silver man, whether he be a full fledged Democrat or a "Republican Bolter." But we want the free and unlimited coinage of silver having it monetized mone-tized in the United States so it will pass, as a legal tender with gold, at a raiio of 10 to 1, and the man who is the best able and willing will-ing to take the obligation in hand and carry it to a completion, is the man that will carry the day. |
