Mrs. Eliza Home Derenlsh, one of Springville's earliest settlers passed over to the tit cat beyond at2o.clock p. m., on Thanksgiving day, from the e ffect of a paralytic stroke. Mrs. Devenish was born in Toronto. Canada, Jan. 17, 1S19. She came to Utah wiih her husband In 1852, and settled in Springville, where she has residetl ever since. She was the mother of four children, three daughters and one son. The funeral services took place Sunday at 2 p. m., at the L. D. S. meeting house. Bishop Loynd had charge of the services, and IV T. Carter and Jonah Phillips, and will be raised at John C mover's tomorrow. The other cases are, one at John Bryan's, two at Mrs. Lucy Tucket's. Thus far no new cases are reported, and only one death has occured. My son has been troubled for years with chronic diarrhoea.
