No contest shall have less than six and not more than ten speakers. The prize for which the young orators of this city are competing is the llrst of the Deinorest Dein-orest series- the silver medal. When six silver medals have been secured by as many contestants they may try for t he goid medal. When eight have won gold medals they may compete for the gran., gold medal. Eight holders ol gold medals may in turn compete bir the gold medal studded with diamonds. Xn person nut enter any contest for any of these medals but once. The judges for these occasions shall he three disinterested dis-interested and competent parties. In order to receive these medals free of charge the above rules must be carried out literally,- and no admission ad-mission fee can be charged nor colled col-led ion taken.
