Ayer's Sarsaparilla enjoys the extra ordinary distinction of having been the only blood purifier allowed an exhibit ex-hibit at the World's fair, Chicago. Manufacturers of other sarsaparillas sought by every means to obtain a showing of their goods, but they were all turned away under the application applica-tion of the rule forbidding the entry of patent medicines and nostrums. The decision of the World's fair au thorites iu favor of Ayer's Sarsapar illa was in effect as follows: "Ayer's Sarsaparilla is nut a patent medicine. Peterson, Springville, Utah. "The World's A Stage." Death ends all till the resurrections. resurrec-tions. The whole world of mankind are the beiiericeries or victims of that which the immortal Shakespeare calls a "seven act drama", the Author of which is evidently the essence of love or hate, either ha "Prince of Peace" or "Prince of the Powers of the Air"; if the former, then a joyous beatitude is the 'finale, inasmuch as the terms of the contract or covenant lay the Author of the drama under obligations to bring the last acts to logical conclusions of the whole, for any ending waich is not finally happy will not be a reasonable termination of the premises. (Now, reader, don't begin to twist your tongue to say "Infidel!" for I am as far from that as you.) That the conclusion of life's drama to many will be unhappy, must nee essarlly result from their failure to heed the Divine Prompter behind the Fccnes. All the heroines and heroes in this stupenduous theatre of time are act ing their respective parts In the deepest deep-est darkness of tho complicated plot; yet, those who believe the Author Divine, trust that bis star actors will be rewarded a-el the incorrigible who persist in marring the play,-silenced forever see Rev. 1 0:1 S. They are wise who realize that wretchedness, mourning and sorrow must precede, in order to prepare the way for happy immortality. That creation, the sole purpose of which is suffering to the least creature that can be conscious of such existence, is not even human, much less Divine. Therefore consciousness con-sciousness in the intermediate state between death and the resurrections must be exeludi-d from the Divine plan of preparing humanity fur the society of angels. There is no knowledge in the grave; they who go down into that "bottom less pit" are for the time they are there without, cognizance of lime and its events. "There t he weary cease from troubling, and the weary are at rest." Rain Bow. Bucklen's Arnioa Salve. E. L. LOMAX, Gen. Pass, and Tkt. Agt. The Chicago. Milwaukee & St- Paul By. Many people unacquainted with the geography geog-raphy of the West imagine that because "Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul" are names us-d in the corporate- title of the railway owning the Short Line between Chicago and Omaha, tliev must go via the cities of Milwaukee Mil-waukee and St. Paul to reach their destination destina-tion if it be Chicago or east thereof. This is a mistaken idea- On a map the line running run-ning directly east and west would look like this: Omaha Chicago. There is nothing more simple than that. and it is less than 500 miles between Omaha and Chicago. Two through trams daily in each direction with the best sleeping car and dining car service, and all regular travelers know ami annreciate the merits of the I lilca go, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railway's Short Line between the fcast and the West.
