He was taken to Springville today where his family reside." If we allow the weaknesses, moral and otherwise, of our fellow men to distress and depress us, we will not be in as good a shape to meet and combat them as by simply going upon the plan of not worrying about what we have no remedy for. It seems that all of us have our life lesson to learn, and each one must learn for himself in his own way. Even the people who are blinded by unworthy desires are gradually learning their folly, and there is little use trying to make tliem see and understand faster than they are ready. Exchange. The theatrical man concluded to forego further discussion, and decided to marry the girl at once. Hence the application to Mr. Houtz. The young people secured a license at Provo and were married that day. The bride returned to Salt Lake with ber parents, while her actor-husband continued con-tinued his tour with "Ole OIhob." A Printer's Roar We believe there are some people who even send away for their job printing when there are two well equipped printing offices in town, We don't believe in patronizing home industry simply from benevolent motives. If you can't get just what you want, if the prices for the same kind of goods are higher, freight or express considered, if your local dealer is careless of your wishes or sends his money away for what he could buy here then you are justified in sending away for what you want. But before you do send your money away be sure you can't do as well here, whether it is jewelry, notions, candies, soda water, clothing, medicines medi-cines or job printing. It is the money that is spent in the camp that helps to build it up while the money that goes out helps to build up other communities. Mercur Miner. How Is Your Wife I Has she losfber beauty? If so. The tramp nuisance is becoming so annoying as to be almost unbearable, but the people are 'n many respects responsible for it, because they show these traveling hoboes too many favors, such as giving them food, clothing and oft'ui money. Theie is no excuse for men tramping over the country living off the people, and the sooner the people resolve tu quit feeding feed-ing them the better. They are undeserving, un-deserving, insolent, and would not hesitate to return aud rob you after having shown them an act of kindness. kind-ness. Of course there arc some exceptions, ex-ceptions, but they are veiy few. When you see a strong able-bodied man begging, you may rest assured that he wouldn't work if he was offered employment. They evidently think the world owes them a living without working for it.
